Cairo & its monuments Two days excursion from Sharm el Sheikh to Cairo will let us explore Giza Plateau and its famous Pyramids, discover workers tomb and wander in the Valley Temple of the Great Sphinx, next day we can either visit Saqqara and its Step pyramid built by king Josser or go to Islamic quarters of Cairo and discover the Citadel of Sladdin and a beautiful Alabaster mosque of Mohammed Ali.
On the way to Cairo We do pick up from any hotel in Sharm el Sheikh.
Pick up from your hotel in the early morning and transfer by a/c bus to Cairo.
The journey to Cairo will take up to 6 hours.
There will be 2 stops on the way to go to toilet and to get breakfast in a cafeteria.
We will arrive in Cairo by 9 am.
National Egyptian museum visit Our day we will start with Egyptian Museum of Antiquities visit, simply called The National Egyptian Museum.
It is situated on Tahrir square and became already a historical monument itself.
Built more than 100 years ago by a French architect, it houses the world's largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities, and many treasures of King Tutankhamen.
120 000 pieces are exhibited there and we will visit all those collections, including Old kingdom, Middle kingdom, New kingdom and king Tut Anch Amun collection.
We will spend around 2,5 hours in the museum.
