Overview
Cairo and Luxor two days excursion by land and sleeping train includes visits to the most famous sights in Egypt.
Let's visit Sphinx and the Pyramids, Queen Hatshipsut temple and Valley of the kings, Huge temples of Karnak and Memnon colossi.
Day 1.
Transfer from Hurghada to Cairo Our two days trip to the most famous ancient cities in Egypt will start with early pick up from your hotel by a comfortable a/c bus.
We do pick up from any hotel in Hurghada.
The bus journey may take up to 6 hours, so we will have some stops on the way.
Upon arrival in the city, our English speaking guide will meet you.
The National Egyptian museum Let's fist visit so called The National Egyptian Museum or Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, situated on Tahrir square and built more than 100 years ago by a French architect.
We will spend around 2,5 hours exploring all the collections of the museum.
Nile Boat Cruise Then enjoy with sailing along the Nile on a small boat.
The Nile boat ride will take up to 45 minutes.
Lunch Lunch will be offered in a local restaurant on set menu basis.
Pyramids and Sphinx After the lunch we will continue our tour and move to Giza to discover one of the seven wonders of the world: The great pyramid of Cheops.
We will visit other pyramids of the area as well.
Night Train to Luxor At the end of the day transfer to the train station to catch your night sleeping train to Luxor.
Day 2.
West Bank visit The West Bank of Luxor is known as the city of dead.
Valley of the Kings Valley of the Kings is the ancient cemetery of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom.
Your visit includes entry into 3 tombs.
Hatshepsut Temple Queen Hatshepsut temple or Deir el Bahari temple is a mortuary temple with a unique design.
The Colossi of Memnon Colossi of Memnon are the only remaining standing statues fronting the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.
Karnak Temples Karnak Temple is the largest ancient temple complex in Egypt measuring 62 acres.

Day 1: 03:30 - Pick up you from your hotel in Hurghada.
Day 2
04:10 - Transfer to Cairo up to 5 hours.
Day 3
08:30 - Meet with our English speaking guide upon arrival.
Day 4
09:00 - Egyptian Museum of Antiquities visit.
Day 5
12:00 - Optional Nile boat ride.
Day 6
13:00 - Lunch in a local restaurant.
Day 7
14:00 - Giza plateau exploration. Famous pyramids, workers tombs and the Sphinx.
Day 8
17:00 - Optionally enter any of the 3 pyramids which will be open to public.
Day 9
18:00 - Papyrus fabric, perfume palace or cotton shop.
Day 10
19:00 - Transfer to the railway station.

21:00 - Night train to Luxor

Day 2: 06:00 - In the morning upon arrival meet with the guide.

07:00 - Optional breakfast in the city.

08:00 - Visit to Memnon Colossi.
Day 15
09:00 - Queen Hatshepsut temple exploration.
Day 16
10:00 - The Valley of the Kings. Visit 3 different tombs which are open to public.

11:30 - Optional visit to King Tutankhamon real or fake tomb is available. Please inform our guide.
Day 18
13:00 - Lunch in a local restaurant.

14:00 - Visit to huge Karnak temples.
Day 20
17:00 - Visit to local bazaars.

18:00 - Optional visit to Luxor temple.

20:00 - Transfer back to Hurghada.
