Today’s excursion to Dashur will lead us north of the Bent Pyramid, where the last and most successful of the three pyramids built during the reign of Snefru - the Pink Pyramid - is located.
It is the world's first successfully completed smooth pyramid.
This structure is also the third largest pyramid in Egypt - after the pyramids of Khufu and Khafre in Giza.
The pink pyramid is the first 'real' pyramid, and the second largest of its founding of all the Egyptian Pyramids.
What is even more interesting is that this pyramid is fully accessible to the public, including the opportunity to see the burial chamber.
